Cadets’ Induction program is intended to improve quality of Junior Officers and Engineers inboard of our vessels.

Company is selecting Deck, Engine and Electrical Cadets from Georgia, India, Russia, Pakistan, Ukraine and Philippines.
Presently, five maritime institutions are approved for participation in the program:

  • BSMA in Georgia

  • IMS GOA and TS Rahman in India

  • SUMIS and KSMTU in Russia

  • KSMA in Ukraine

  • Pakistan Marine Academy

  • Cebu Maritime Academy Philippines

These cadets are selected by their academic grade, results of professional CES and psychologic tests and interviews with Training Managers. Before joining company, induction is provided to them.

They will complete 12 months of ship board structured training as per Company standard. Every month the cadet sends his monthly progress report which is reviewed and sent back. Training Managers give the cadet various projects to complete.
So far, 23 cadets have been promoted to officers’ positions, 5 of them joined the vessels already.
